Special Features

To insure proper deployment of a life raft in the event of a water ditching, specific folding instructions need to be followed before loading life rafts into container.Once loaded, pressure is applied to container top for a specified period of time.This allows the raft to settle at or slightly below the rim of the container

Functional Description

Compresses the life raft into therigid container; the raft is folded and placed inside the container; the plate or cover is placed on top of life raft; two bands are wrapped around the container and secured; applies pressure and provides for proper fit and for proper deployment from the rigid container
