Special Features

Aka air dryer assembly. Used on the 50 kw transmitter used on the navy p3 and new mma aircraft and other programs. Also used on the 15 kw transmitters on many international programs. Item is a container filled with dehydrating, drying material, silica gel and molecular sieve and is replaceable by removing the rear fitting of the container. Part of the mixture contains a color indicating material, cobalt blue or european orange, to indicate the condition of the dryer material. The assembly plugs directly into the front of the transmitters and is held in place by two fastening screws. The front of the dryer has an an4 fitting where a hose can be fitted and hooked to other dehydrator containers if needed.
