Night Vision Image Intensifier

An item designed to act on an optical input image in such a way as to cause an increase in radiant intensity level in a visible optical output image. In the direct type, the visible image appears on the viewing surface of the item. In the remote type, the visible image appears on a remote display. It includes items designed to both convert and intensify an image. Excludes image converter, night vision.
