General Description
The portable gc ms is separated into two hardside overpack cases; the gc ms instrument pack and the supporting hardware pack. The gc ms instrument pack contains a gas chromatograph, a mass spectrometer, and the computing hardware and software necessary to produce state-of-the art analysis and chemical identification. The supporting hardware pack contains computer and gc ms peripherals needed for the proper operation of instruments in the gc ms pack. It also contains the field maintenance tool kit, the field operations supplies kit, the field sampling kit, a heating sampling line and generator supplies. The gc ms includes a lightweight, 2kw diesel generator to allow the portable gc ms to operate independently
