Vacuum Bottle

A container without handle, having a capacity of not more than 2 quarts (1.892 liters), using a vacuum to prevent conduction of heat into or out of the container. The item is provided with a suitable stopper and screw cap used to retain the contents at or near the original temperature for a predetermined length of time. See also jug, vacuum.
