Hoisting Link

A rigid item which is less than three times as long as it is high. It includes an ey (s), ring(s), hole(s), loop(s) , or the like, to facilitate hoisting and is designed to permit attaching such items as sling legs, shackles, rods, and hooks at two or more points. May include mounting hardware such as bolts, screw, washers and the like. Excludes spreader, sling. See also beam, hoisting.
