Liquid Measure

A vessel designed to hold a specific quantity of liquid or its equivalent in dry material. It may have a fixed handle. It may have a pouring lip and/or funnel pouring spout or dispensing spout. The dispensing spout type may have a flow control valve. It may be graduated. Excludes the graduated type of cup, drinking which are specifically designed for rationing water in abandon-ship equipment. Do not use if a more specific item name is applicable.
