Pneumati Railway Tamping Machine

An item consisting of a series of tampers suspended from adjustable arms attached to a crosshead with vertical movement. Mounted on a self-propelled railway carriage with an internal combustion engine power plant which supplies operation power for self-propelling and a compressor. It is used for tamping ballast around railway ties.
