health hazards acute and chronic: molten solder alloys do not produce
significant lead fume below 700f. exposure to high levels of
airborne or ingested lead may produce symptoms of anemia, insomnia,
weakness, constipation, nausea & a bdominal pain. Prolonged
exposure may result in kidney & nervous system involvement.

pregnant women should avoid lead.

explanation of carcinogenicity: not listed by ntp, iarc or osha as a
carcinogen.

effects of overexposure: loss of appetite, metallic taste in the mouth,
anxiety, constipation, nausea, pallor, excessive tiredness,
weakness, insomnia, headache, nervous irritability, muscle and

heated, fumes may cause eye, skin & respiratory tract irritation.
