Pwa81986 tab bender is a steel assembly consisting of a two-lever handle, a positioning yoke, a shaft, a pulladapter, an initial bend anvil, and a final pull anvil; the anvil bends the tabs in a two-step process; the pulladapter supports the anvil; the shaft connects the pull adapter to the handle; the positioning yoke guides the shaft and aligns the tool with the tierod; when the handle's levers are separated, a pulling force is applied to the shaft; this draws the anvil toward the handles, bending the tab; size: 16.0 in, by 5.0 in. By 2.8 in.; reacts as pliers with vertical jaws

Iduring assembly, the key washer tabs on the sixth and the sixteenth stages of the high presure compressor must be bent to retain the tie rods; the washers are located on inaccessible sides of the disks
