acute exposure causes strong eye, nose, and throat irritation,
rhinorrhea, chocking, and broncho constriction. The odor and taste
thresholds are equal to or less than the permissable exposure
limit, and nose and throat irritation occur within three times the
pemissable exposure limit. Inhalation: sulphur dioxide: 10 - 20
ppm irritation. 100 ppm dangerous. 400 ppm life threatening. Eye
contact: sulphur dioxide: irritant. Skin contact: sulphur dioxide:
irritant. Ingestion: n/p.
