health hazards acute and chronic: skin: irritation, dermatitis and burns.

inhalation: inflammation of the upper respiratory tract leading to
chronic bronchitis. Eyes: irritation and burns. *prolonged contact
to strong acid fumes may resu lt in erosion of the teeth enamel.

effects of overexposure: acid can cause irritation of the eyes, nose and
throat. Breathing mist produces respiratory difficulty, contact
with the skin and eyes causes irritation and skin burn.

medical cond aggravated by exposure: sulfuring acid mist causes coughing
and will burn the eyes and skin.

First Aid

First aid: inhalation: move to ventilated area. Eyes: wash with copious
quantities of running water for 15 min. Obtain medical attention.
