manufactured articles as defined in 29 cfr 1910.1200 (c).

overexposure can occur only if the battery is misused/ruptured.

cadmium & its cmpds: inhalation of dust/fu me may cause irritation
of nose & throat. If high concentration inhaled, a delayed reaction
may develop. In severe cases, death may result from pulmonary
edema. Nickel & certain nickel cmpds: skin con tact may cause local
dermatitis. Inhalation may cause upper respiratory irritation.
