health hazards acute and chronic: direct contact w/ product causes
irritation of eyes. Continuous contact may cause skin irrit (red,
dry, cracked skin). Excessive levels of airborne dust may irritate
mucous membranes & upper respirato ry tract. Acute effects: may
cause severe eye irrit, including corneal opacities. Dusts & mists
irritate skin, mucous membranes, & upper resp tract. Chronic: may
cause inflammation of mucous membranes in resp tract & of the
skin. Target organ: eye.

effects of overexposure: irritating to eyes. Continuous contact may
irritate skin.

First Aid

First aid: eyes: flush with water for 15 minutes, lifting lids to rinse
entire eye. Call dr immed. Skin: flush w/copious amounts of water
for 15 mins. If irritation persists, call dr. Inhalation: remove
from exp osure. if discomfort occurs/persists, seek med attn.

ingestion: rinse mouth w/ water. Do not induce vomiting. If
conscious, give 1 or 2 glasses of water to dilute. Call dr immed.

note to physician: w hile internal toxicity is low, irritant
effects of high concentrations may produce corneal opacities &
vesicular skin reactions w/ abraded skin only. Treatment is
symptomatic & supportive.
