fume fever, flu-like illness, may occur due to inhal of freshly
formed metal oxide particles sized below 1.5 microns & usually

effects of overexposure: hlth haz: between 0.02-0.05 microns. Symps may
be delayed 4-12 hrs & begin w/sudden onset of thirst & sweet,
metallic/foul taste in mouth. Other symps may incl upper resp tract
irrit accompanied by co ugh & dryness of muc membs, lassitude & gen
feeling of malaise. Fever, chills, musc pain, mild to sev hdch,
naus, ocasnl vomit, exaggerated mental activity, profuse sweat,
excess urination, diarr & pr ostration may also occur. Tolerance to
