Hazards

Health hazards acute and chronic: acute: irritation of skin and eyes. In
event of over-exposures, burns may occur to tissues. Chronic:
dermatitis (cracking and reddening of skin) may develop after
prolonged or repeated skin contact w ith product. Long-term
over-exposure via inhalation or ingestion can produce symptoms
similar to those described for other lithium compounds (i. E. Rash,
ringing in ears, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, d ifficulty speaking,
drowsiness, twitching, visual disturbances and coma). Inorganic
bromides (such as lithium bromide) can also cause rashes, which
resemble acne, after prolonged ingestion or inhalati on
overexposures.

irritation, burns, itching, pain, reddening, dermatitis. Skin
