effects of overexposure: eyes: tearing, burning pain. skin: skin may
turn brown-yellow. Ingestion: abdominal pain, vomiting, esophageal
swelling, stomach & esophageal perforation. inhalation: acute
burning of nose, throat with coughing, choking, dizziness,
difficulty swallowing. frothy sputum, cyanosis, with circulatory
shock, asphyxiation, gastric hemorrhage, & death from severe
exposure.
First aid: eyes: flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes, occasionally lifting the upper & lower lids. Cover burns
