this product is slightly toxic by ingestion. Eye: moderate to severe
irritation. skin: dermatitis and skin sensitization can develop after rep
eated and/or prolonged contact of concentrated product with human skin. this
product is practically nontoxic by skin penetration. Systemically toxic
concentrations will probably not be absorbed thro ugh the skin in man.

inhalation: this product does not pose a vapor inhalation hazard, but
repeated and/or prolonged aerosol exposures are potentially hazards.

explanation of carcinogenicity: phmb, the active ingredient in this product,
when administered to mice at very high doses, induced an incidence of cancer
in mice. under the conditions of anticipated use of this product, phmb does
n ot represent a risk to man.

signs and symptions of overexposure: inhalation: cyanosis, euphoria, headache,
flushed face, light-headedness, ataxia, weakness, rapid heartbeat, labored
breathing, nausea, vomiting, mental confusion, hypertension, blindness, liver
& kid ney injury. Ingestion: irritation of mouth, pharynx, esophagus
& stomach. Eyes: severe irritation. Skin: moderate skin irritation,
dermatitis, skin sensitization.

first aid: skin: wash material off the skin with plenty of soap and water. If
redness, itching or a burning sensation develops, get medical attention.

eyes: immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 1 5 minutes and
have eyes examined and treated by medical personnel. Ingestion: do not
induce vomiting. Give 1 or 2 glasses of water to drink. If symptoms develop,
