& eyes. Irrit of skin acts by itching or reddening of skin. Eye
irrit acts by watering, itching & redness. Inhalation of dust may
produce respiratory irritation, acts as coughing or a choking
sensation. Repeated exposure of the eyes to low level of dust can
produce eye irritation.
effects of overexposure: repeated skin exposure can produce local skin
destruct or dermatitis. Repeat inhal of dust can produce varying
degrees of respiratory irrit or lung damage. Long term expos to
silicon dioxide been know n to cause silicosis, lung disease
indicated by dry cough & gradual decrease in breathing ability.
First aid: skin: flush contam skin w/plenty of wtr. Consult physician if
irrit develops. Eyes: immed flush eyes w/plenty wtr @ least 15 min.
occasionally lift upper/lower lids. Get med atten @ once. Inhale:
move victim to fresh air. Flush mouth/nasal passages w/water
repeatedly. Get med atten if irrit persist. Ingest: do not induce
vomiting. If victim is conscious give lots of water to drink. Med
atten @ once

aroma.
