produce dose-related birth defects in rats & mice when given by
mouth at high concentrations. There is no currently available
information to suggest birth defects in humans, it is considered
an animal teratogen. Swallowed: central nervous system depression,
kidney damage, may be fatal.
explanation of carcinogenicity: at the tlv the tio2 manufacturer
concludes that there is no significant hazard for man.
effects of overexposure: swallow: abdominal discomfort or pain, dizz,
malaise, lumbar pain, oliguria, uremia & central nerv system
depression & severe kidney damage which can be fatal. Inhale: may
cause respiratory irritation. eyes: may cause eye irritation.
skin: defatting & irritation.

First aid: swallow: immed give 1-2 glass of water & call
