skin, sensitization.

silica (iarc group 2a, limited evidence of carcinogenicity in
humans)
effects of overexposure: ingestion- nausea and vomiting. inhalation-
headaches, dizziness, nausea and confusion. repeated overexposure
may cause nervous system damage.

medical cond aggravated by exposure: individuals with pre-existing
disease or a history of ailments involving the skin, eye,
respiratory tract, liver, kedney, central nervous system are at a
greater than normal risk of adverse effects.

First Aid

First aid: eyes: flush with running water for 15 minutes while lifting
eyelids. Skin: flush with water. Remove contaminated clothing.

inhalation: remove victim to fresh air. Give oxygen or artificial
respiratio n as required. Get medical attention. ingestion- do not
induce vomiting. Give 1 glass of milk or 1 or 2 oz (30-60g) of
actibated charcoal in water to victim as tolerated. Seek medical
attention.
