Nitrogen charging cylinder assembly
Functional Description
Consists of a nitrogen cylinder, regulator, hose and adapter. The assembly is used to purge and charge long wire antenna (lwa) and short wire antenna (swa) periscopes in the very low frequency/low frequency (vlp/lf) antenna system. The periscopes are purged and charged with dry nitrogen to prevent optical system degredation.
