Inboard Eng Bridge Erection Boat

A watercraft designed for bridge building functions such as hauling and pushing assembled floating bridge sections into position; must incorporate features such as hauling tackle and pushing knees which identify it with its designed function. It is usually skid and skeg protected and may be constructed in separable sections. Excludes pontoon boat; pontoon float; and pontoon, sectional; altered by the addition of inboard engines and general purpose craft.
