Small Arms-fr Supplemental Armor

A protective covering specially designed to be mounted on an aircraft or ground vehicle to protect it or its occupants from small arms or anti-aircraft fire, or exploding-mine fragments. It may be made from metallic or nonmetallic material, either in sections or in one piece. It may have integral fittings for installation. Excludes armor plate and body armor, fragmentation protective and cloth (1), ballistic.
