Marine Propeller Shaft Assembly

An item consisting essentially of the shaft, the shaft bearing, the propeller and the pertinent monitoring equipment. May also include the control facility for controllable-pitch propellers. It is used to transmit the torque produced by the propulsion system and to impart propulsion to the watercraft.
