Sterilization Mat

An item which is placed in the bottom of a tray, sterilization to cushion, protect, and organize surgical instruments for sterilization. It is made of a non-absorbent material, such as silicone. It includes ribs or fingers protruding from the surface which may support the instruments and holes which permit proper exposure and ventilation during the sterilization process, minimizing the accumulation of condensed moisture and promoting efficient instrument sterilization.
