An item or group of items which are part of a training system, air combat maneuvering instrumentation, being the groud relay component which provides continuous ranging and identification capabilities for aircraft in an air combat maneuvering rang, and ground-to-air and air-to-ground data link communication between training subsystem, aircraft instrumentation, and/or ground control and computation subsystem. used to monitor and evaluate aircrew in the techniques of effective air combat.
