Shaft-hub Clamp-bushing Assembly

A detachable clamping connection between a shaft and a hub. The connection is effected by friction and transmits high torque ratings without backlash. The item usually consists of a slotted conical inner and outer ring, clamp screws, thrust collar and the like. It may have an adjustable nonpositive connection and is not suitable as a sliding clutch. Excludes clutch assembly, friction; coupling, shaft, flexible; and coupling, shaft, rigid.
