Laboratory Fume Hood

A laboratory furniture device consisting of a housing with an upper extracting compartment, an air by-pass, and which may include a working area. It is designed to exhaust chemical vapors and provide the working area with a flow of clean air. It may contain service outlets for gas, electric, water and air. Design may include such components as cup sinks, cabinets, and work tables. Excludes canopy type hoods.
