Drill Point Gage

A tool of various shapes and design used primarily for checking the point angle of twist drills or as a standard for accurately grinding the point on twist drills. Some types may be used as a hook rule, plain rule, depth gage, height gage, try square, level, slide caliper, countersink gage, or any combination thereof. A portion of the tool, or a combination of assembled parts forms either a 59 degree or a 118 degree angle. See also square, double.
