Sonar Towed Array

A submersible cable-like array that generally consists of a tow cable, hydrophon (s), transducer(s), vibration isolator(s), stabilizer(s), sensors, a drogue and the like. Can operate in multiplt modes (ie passive or active) and/or multiple frequencies (low medium, high), or onboard multiple vessel types (surface, sub, unmsanned) . it may or may not be a single unit. for a submersible body designed to house, but does niot include these components, see towed body, sonar.
