Electrical Insulation Cloth

A fabric of natural or synthetic fibers such as cotton, silk, rayon, glass, asbestos or nylon in widths of 12 inches (304.8 millimeters) or more, and which is specifically designed to prevent any undesirable flow of current between a conducto (s) and/or other objects. Excludes plastic sheet; and items which do not have definite rated electrical characteristics. See also insulation tape, electrical.
