Friction Lining Material

A fibrous and/or metallic material with or without binders and/or compounds woven or molded into roll or sheet form of uniform width and thickness and may be fabricated with or without cork inserts. It is intended as the bulk material from which lining, friction may be fabricated for use on disks, shoes, or bands to provide a friction surface for transmitting, retarding, or stopping motion.
