A mechanical device used to test motor vehicle performance by placing the vehicle's driving wheels on drive rollers and simulating actual driving load conditions. Consists of all, or part of the following components: instrument cabinet, chassis, engine cooling system, and auxiliary idler rolls. Excludes dynamometer, run-in.
