Telephon Main Distributing Frame

A framework upon which are mounted one or more fanning type terminal boards and is the terminating point for telephone lines. It may be enclosed and/or cross connected. It must include mounting facilities for protective devices or mounted devices, such as heat coils for protection against lightning and/or line surges. Excludes intermediate distributing frame, telephone.
