Whirlpool Bath

A receptacle such as a tank or tub, with a turbine ejector, aerator, pump, heater and like equipment. It is designed to produce a whirling stream of water forcibly directed against the body or portions of the body during hydromassage, bathing, hydrotheraphy, and burn treatment. It may be portable, mobile, or stationary. For hospital bath or sitz bath, see bathtub.
