A preformed item which may be any shape, having a sandwich or honeycomb core bonded to a metallic or non-metallic facing material. it is used to enclose any portion of the fuselage or to fabricate partitions or compartments of the guided missile launcher. it may be mounted by fasteners, bonding, or welding. excludes housing, guided missile launcher; shield, guided missile launcher; structural component, guided millile launcher.
