Electric Soldering Pencil

A hand-held item consisting of a single electrode holder and one or two current carrying electrodes at one end. It is used to raise the temperature of metal in contact with the electrode (s) by resistance heating. The single electrode type requires, and is furnished with, a ground clamp.
