Rubber Preservative Coating

An elastomer base preparation which is applied to fabricated rubber products as a preserving agent against cracking, checking, hardening or other forms of deterioration occurring during storage, use, or exposure to weather. It dries to form a coating and comes in either concentrated or ready mixed form. See also sealing compound. Excludes paint, rubber.
