Shipping And Storage Drum

A straight sided, cylindrically shaped container having flat or bumped ends (heads) which are secured by various methods. One end may serve as a removable cover. It is usually greater in length than breadth and usually has outward, reinforcing rolling hoops. Capacities range from 1/4 gallon to 110 gallons (0.9 liters to 416.35 liters) or the equivalent in pounds (kilograms). It is designed for dry materials, liquids, or semiliquids.
