Fiberscope

This is an optical instrument used to view objects that could not be seen by direct viewing. It contains an objective lens assembly and a bundle of systematically arranged optical fibers. The system may contain other components. The fibers transmit a full color image which remains undisturbed when the bundle is bent. See also borescope. Excludes items used for medical purposes.
