Towed Field Artillery Gun

A complete projectile-firing weapon mounted on a carriage and mobile enough to accompany infantry or armored units in the field. It is used for long-range fire or for the delivery of fire requiring a flat trajectory and high velocity. It does not have facilities for self-propulsion.
