Textile Braid

A narrow fabric produced on a braiding machine by crossing a number of strands of yarn diagonally in such a way that each strand passes alternately over and under one or more of the others. Manufactured in flat, tubular, or a combination of flat and tubular shapes. Limited to widths up to and including 12 inches (304.8 millimeters). Excludes lace, ornamental; tape, textile; and webbing, textile.
