Electrical Power Substation

An integral power unit designed to function intermediately between the generating station and the distribution network. It is composed of a switching section, transformer section, and a feeder distribution section. It is designed to transform the input generating station voltages into the output distribution voltages necessary for local power use. Excludes distribution box; interconnecting box; and interconnecting cabinet.
