Direct Current Power Filter

A device consisting of a combination of two or more items such as inductors, capacitors, or resistors in any combination, so designed that when properly placed in an electrical circuit they will smooth out voltage fluctuations of the direct current output of power supplies, dynamotors, generators, etc. Do not use for items which consist of a single resistor, capacitor, or inductor used to perform the same function.
