Abrasive Wheel Guard

An item usually made of metal which partially encompasses an abrasive wheel on various types of machines. It may be designed as a spark arrestor and saftey measure against broken wheel particles, also as a splash guard when used with wet type grinding. It may be constructed from a single piece, or assembled from several pieces of metal. See also shield, eye, grinding wheel.
