Pinking Shears

Hand held, manually operated shears, having a bent or straight pattern handle with one ring shaped grip, designed for a single finger, and one loop shaped grip, designed for two or more fingers. Its blades are patterned into wavy lines or a saw-toothed cutting edge, which in cutting, duplicate their pattern on the edge of a material. See also pinking machine.
