Gun Muzzle Velocity Speedometer

An item which automatically measures the initial projectile velocity at an artillery gun muzzle. It consists of a radar, a transceiver with an integrated processing unit, and a single compact housing. It is mounted either on a gun non-recoiling part or on a free-standing tripod mount. The velocity data may be transmitted to a firing control system, a display unit, or a maintenance terminal for a specific analysis in local mode.
