flashpoint 3 decrypts a5/1 encryption used by specific mobile phone personalities. flashpoint 3 works with all drt1000/3000-series receiver systems using the sledgehammer interface. the drt receiver system intercepts the data over the air and passes the data to the flashpoint 3 unit. flashpoint 3 will then calculate the a5/1 session key (kc) with an average time of 0.6 second per attempt and an average crack success rate above average in real-world conditions. it then sends the session key back to the drt receiver to update the crosshair database, so that the receiver can decrypt and demodulate the encrypted messages, including voice, text, and mms. special features.
