Electronic Surveying Instrument

An electronic instrument utilizing modulated microwaves for precise measurements required for surveying and mapping operations. It contains instrumentation, the read-outs which are quickly converted to distances. Two or more units comprise the complete operating assembly, but are in themselves not complete functioning items.
